The Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce's Wellness Committee worked with member businesses to compile a listing of businesses that have structured wellness programs in the work place. Including with the listing is an outline of the individual wellness program. Workplace wellness programs are recognized by more and more companies for their value in improving health and well-being of their employees. An employer sponsored wellness program can take on many forms and features. They could consist of as little as a gym full of exercise equipment that is available to their employees during the workday on company property. They may also cover smoking cessation programs, nutrition information, weight reduction information, stress management training, health risk assessments, or health care screenings. Other examples include subsidized gym/fitness center memberships, fitness contests, financial wellness incentives, diabetes management, health awareness & education in the workplace, lifestyle management, and other disease management and health related benefits.
Find below the listing of area wellness programs as well as a questionaire if you'd like to include your program on the listing.
