A key responsibility of the Chamber is to serve as a legislative advocate for the Greater Fort Smith Region on a state and federal level. The Chamber provides opportunities for members to network with lawmakers and government officials to make them aware of issues that are important to community. The Governmental Affairs Division will develop a public policy agenda and educate policy makers on the issues that will move the Greater Fort Smith Region forward on the local, state, and federal level.
