Small Business Resource Expo: August 29th, 2013
The Small Business Resource Expo is focused toward small businesses and entrepreneurs of all levels in our state. The expo will provide an opportunity to discover resources that aid in small business development and entrepreneurship. These organizations will range from woman and minority business development, procurement assistance with cities, counties, states, and universities, access to working and excess capital through SBA approved micro-lenders and private investors, educating local workforces through government funded programs, and more . There will also be classes and educational presentations throughout the day with topics ranging from acquiring finances and capital, business safety and risk management, tax implications of different corporations, procurement assistance, internet marketing and social media for small business, and more.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) is a university-based economic development program which provides assistance to entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout Arkansas via a statewide network of seven offices.
