On Saturday, December 8, 2012 citizens of the Greater Fort Smith Region are invited to help honor the servicemen and women of our community, who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation at the 4th Annual Christmas Honors. Family, friends and volunteers will transform the Fort Smith National Cemetery by placing one wreath on each of the 13,500 headstones in their honor.

The Green & Clean Committee is currently accepting nominations for the 2011 Outstanding Green Business award.  The committee will be awarding local companies with the award on Earth Day, April 22, 2011.  If your company is doing positive things for our planet, now is the time to be recognized for it.  All Chamber member businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government bodies are eligible.  Applications must be recieved by April 18, 2011 for review.  For more information please email Heather Morris at hmorris
